Austin Hits in 25 Straight Games Tuesday, May 3rd , 2022 John Austin's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-5 in his team's 13-6 triumph over the Buchanan High School Bears at Doc Buchanan Baseball Stadium. The 15-year-old left fielder has now hit safely in 25 consecutive games for the Greyhounds. John Austin grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jose Gonzalez in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. Austin is currently batting .301 with 14 home runs and 25 RBIs. |
