5-Hit Blitz by Pena Tuesday, May 3rd , 2022 Alejandro Pena did a number on the Eagles in the 8-7 Lowndes High School victory -- and the number was 5. The Vikings shortstop banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Lowndes High School Baseball Stadium to lead his club past the Georgetown High School Eagles. "I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Alejandro Pena doubled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Dave Schacht in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit a two-run home run off Bobby Williams in the 10th. Currently Pena is batting .365 with 8 home runs and 26 RBIs. |
