Lancers Won't Get Playoff Berth Tuesday, May 3rd , 2022 Members of the Saint Francis High School Lancers are left wondering what could have been today, as the team has been eliminated from postseason contention. "You look back at a handful of games that easily could have gone the other way for us," said right fielder Jonathan Swander. "We really think we were good enough to get to the playoffs this year, so it stings." Saint Francis High School last appeared in the postseason in 2020. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 14 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Lancers have made the playoffs 5 times. |
