Lake Brantley High School's John Collins Injured Thursday, April 9th , 2026 John Collins of the Lake Brantley High School Patriots was injured in today's game against Loganville High School and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a fractured coracoid bone in his shoulder, and he is expected to be out for up to 5 months. It happened while Collins was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." For the year, Collins has collected 1 save in 7 relief appearances. He has also notched 12 strikeouts and 4 walks in 11.2 innings while registering a 4.63 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record. |
