Year Over for Marauders Bennett Thursday, April 9th , 2026 John Bennett has to call it a season. The Marcus High School Marauders reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Stoneman Douglas High School Eagles and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Bennett was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11 months. To date this year, Bennett has fashioned a 15.55 ERA over 11 innings with a 0-0 record. He has made 7 relief appearances with 7 strikeouts and no saves. |
