AHS Star of the Week Named Monday, April 6th , 2026 17-year-old Michael Cook made a few Doral Academy headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and ABA High School officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .538 average. Cook collected 6 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 9 runs. This season, Cook is batting .500 with 13 home runs. He has scored 22 runs and driven in 21. |
