Fred Pavone Bashes Three over the Wall Sunday, April 5th , 2026 Fred Pavone went yard three times in a Sinton High School Pirates victory over the Southlake Carroll High School Dragons at Sinton Pirates Baseball Stadium. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Sinton High School center fielder went 3-for-4 against Southlake Carroll High School with 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Pirates to the 10-0 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Fred Pavone walked in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Rick Chase in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Justin Lyons in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Brandon Maynor in the 8th. This year, Pavone has batted at a .429 pace with 15 hits, 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 8 times. |
