Stovall Slams 3 Homers for Eagles Wednesday, April 27th , 2022 Georgetown High School Eagles catcher Colt Stovall left the De La Salle High School pitching staff in ruins at Koch Baseball Diamond, beating the Spartans, 15-9, with a prodigious three-home run performance. "The last one was totally unexpected," Stovall told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three." For the game, the Georgetown High School catcher had 4 hits in 6 at-bats, drove in 10 and scored 4 runs. Colt Stovall hit a two-run home run off Rick Hall in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Rick Hall in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Aaron Traughber in the 6th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. So far this season, Stovall has hit .297 with 11 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 31 times. |
