Mike Thorsen Drills 3 HR in One Game Thursday, April 2nd , 2026 Jesuit High School first baseman Mike Thorsen led the Tigers to a triumph, 19-0, over the Liberty High School Patriots, crushing three home runs. "He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Jesuit High School skipper Tony Brown. Indeed, Thorsen put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 4 hits in 5 at-bats with 3 runs and 7 RBIs. "I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Thorsen said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em." Mike Thorsen hit a two-run home run off Dave Corrad in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Lance Humphries in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Mike Beighley in the 4th and hit an RBI single in the 5th. Thus far this year, Thorsen has hit .409 with 10 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
