Maldonado Parks 3 HR in the Seats
Wednesday, April 1st , 2026
The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Angel Maldonado did at Lake Brantley High School Baseball Field, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 16-7.
"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Maldonado said. "Good things happen, when that happens."
The Allatoona High School Buccaneers center fielder blistered the Lake Brantley High School Patriots for 4 hits, batted in 8 runs and scored 3 times.
"It ain't like we weren't trying," Lake Brantley High School manager Elijah Johnson said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."
Angel Maldonado hit a three-run home run off Scott DeVos in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off John Collins in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd and hit a two-run home run off Joel Duvall in the 5th.
So far this year, Maldonado is batting .348 with 6 home runs.
