AHS Star of the Week Named Monday, April 25th , 2022 A hot-hitting week got Chris Hazlett the ABA High School Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The North Oconee High School left fielder slammed them for a .458 average, 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 7 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 9 runs. In the postgame press conference, Hazlett shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." For the year, Hazlett has hit .290 with 16 home runs, 34 RBIs and scored 24 runs. |
