Brett Wisdom Injured, Out for Year Friday, April 24th , 2020 Brett Wisdom of the Mustangs just might have to call it quits for the season. The 15-year-old Stockdale High School starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Allatoona High School Buccaneers recently at Buccaneer Baseball Field. Wisdom suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Mustangs medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. Thus far this season Wisdom has posted a 2-0 record, started 3 games, struck out 14 batters in 21 innings and compiled a 2.57 ERA. |
