Season Over for Rickey Dickinson in Etowah High School Tuesday, March 31st , 2026 The season is finished for Rickey Dickinson of the Etowah High School Eagles. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Eagles reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Lowndes High School Vikings. Team doctors said it would take at least 9-10 months to heal. This year, Dickinson is 1-and-1 with no saves and a 4.50 ERA. He has given up 8 hits in 6 innings with 4 strikeouts. |
