Pace High School's Carpenter Sidelined for Season
Friday, April 22nd , 2022
When Josh Carpenter was hurt against the Coppell High School Cowboys, the Pace High School Patriots were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 17-year-old reliever suffered a torn rotator cuff throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Carpenter would miss 8 months of the season.

To date, Carpenter has collected no saves in 7 relief appearances. He has rung up 16 strikeouts and 9 walks in 13.2 innings while registering a 3.29 ERA and a 1-0 won-lost record.
