McPherson Pounds 3 HR Against Patriots Thursday, April 21st , 2022 Coppell High School right fielder Jordan McPherson led the Cowboys to a triumph, 9-8, over the Pace High School Patriots, crushing three home runs. "He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Coppell High School skipper Ryan Olsen. Indeed, McPherson put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 3 runs and 4 RBIs. "I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," McPherson said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em." Jordan McPherson hit a two-run home run off Allen Ellingson in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Casey Bausher in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Ryan Stick in the 8th. So far this season, McPherson is batting .252 with 8 home runs, 14 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 103 at-bats, 6 walks and a .306 OBP. McPherson has played in 27 games. |
