Ridin' High: Maynor Hits for Cycle Sunday, March 29th , 2026 Chris Maynor ripped 2 singles, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run for Boerne High School at Boerne ISD Sports Complex, but the cycle was all for naught as the Greyhounds lost to the Huntington Beach High School Oilers, 16-13. "I can't get too excited about it," Maynor said. "I'd trade all those hits for a win in a heartbeat." In the remarkable day at the plate, Maynor went 5-for-6 with 6 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. Chris Maynor hit a solo-shot off Marquise Stotts in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. Thus far this season, Maynor is hitting .325 with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 13 hits in 40 at-bats and has played in 9 games. |
