Burleson's Season Could be Over Monday, April 18th , 2022 The season is apparently over for Russ Burleson. The Coppell High School Cowboys medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 6 months with shoulder inflammation. Burleson was hurt in the game against Taravella High School while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Over the season Burleson has thrown 24.2 innings and dished out 29 strikeouts with a 1-2 mark and a 3.65 ERA. |
