Panthers Pitching Ravaged by Marini Thursday, March 26th , 2026 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Tomball High School's 11-5 win over Spring Hill High School, shortstop Josh Marini was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Spring Hill High School Baseball Complex. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Marini said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Josh Marini singled in the 1st, struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Juan Aragon in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Brian Withers in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. Marini is hitting at a .586 mark this season. His stats show 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He has played 6 games for the Cougars. |
