Swarts Cracks 3 HRs for Parkview High School Wednesday, March 25th , 2026 Mark Swarts showed off his power as he launched three balls into the seats against the Calvary Christian High School Warriors and sparked the Panthers to a win, 16-11. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Hugh Buchanan Field." For the day, Swarts collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Parkview High School skipper Manuel Vargas said. "Mark really put on a show." Mark Swarts walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Tyler Blumenberg in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Brad Winther in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Koster in the 8th. For the season, Swarts is currently batting .364 with 5 home runs and 9 RBIs. In 5 games he has reached base at a .462 rate and scored 8 runs to date. |
