5-for-5 Game for Ploutz Wednesday, March 25th , 2026 Etowah High School Eagles first baseman Tom Ploutz went 5-for-5 and paced the 20-11 Etowah High School victory over the Lubbock Cooper High School Pirates at Lubbock Cooper High School Stadium. "Well, that was fun," Ploutz said, following the game. Tom Ploutz walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Andrew Eberhardt in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Zack Buckner in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. During the current season Ploutz is batting at a .381 clip with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. He has played in 5 games and scored 9 times. |
