Red-Hot Meade Scorches Bears Monday, March 23rd , 2026 All game long, Taravella High School's Brett Meade was rattling the walls at Taravella High School Baseball Stadium and banging out base hits against the Buchanan High School Bears. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Trojans had a win, 14-11. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 18-year-old third baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Brett Meade singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Joe Grand in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 8th. |
