Hawks Neely Booms 3 HRs Monday, March 23rd , 2026 At Paul Straub Field at Hyer Family Park, Ron Neely hit homer after homer after homer. But they didn't add up to enough to beat the Jesuit High School Tigers as the Rockwall-Heath High School Hawks went down to defeat, 7-5. "It was a good game for me, not so good for our team," the Rockwall-Heath High School third baseman said. "I got lucky. I made some good swings on some pitches. We just didn't put up one in the win column." On his monumental day, he had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 3 runs, and scored 3 times. "The third one was totally unexpected," Neely told reporters after his extraordinary game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get another home run and bang, I got number three." Ron Neely hit a solo-shot off Roger Haupt in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Roger Haupt in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Keith Herbaugh in the 8th. |
