Eagles Lose Bell for Season Sunday, April 17th , 2022 When Dan Bell was hurt against the St. Johns Country Day High School Spartans, the Etiwanda High School Eagles were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 18-year-old reliever suffered a torn back muscle throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Bell would miss 4 months of the season. Bell has pitched 6.1 innings and molded a 9.95 ERA with no saves. He has surrendered 9 hits while registering 5 strikeouts on his way to a 1-0 record for the Eagles this year. |
