Texans Holle Lost for Year
Sunday, April 17th , 2022
The doctors have spoken and Alex Holle of the Ray High School Texans didn't like what he heard. The 16-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Holle sustained his season-ending injury during the Cardinal Gibbons High School Chiefs game yesterday at Ray High School Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Ray High School medical staff reported Holle had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6 months.

So far this season, Holle has logged a 0-4 record with a 3.91 ERA. He has started 6 games, hurled 23 innings and registered 22 strikeouts and 11 walks.
