Martin Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Saturday, March 21st , 2026 Joe Martin, center fielder for the Chiles High School Timberwolves, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 5-4 victory over the Clayton Valley Charter High School Eagles at Chiles High School Baseball Field. "Not the outcome we wanted," Clayton Valley Charter High School manager Jason Shumate said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Joe Martin flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dan Simon in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 9th. |
