2-Game Suspension for Howard Saturday, March 21st , 2026 Jim Howard of the Grenada High School Matadors became belligerent after a third-strike call in the game against Parkview High School yesterday at Parrots Grounds. Today, the Matadors third baseman addressed his battle with the umps and the ejection that resulted in a 2-game suspension by the league. Howard said the league report submitted to the league by the umpiring crew did not tell whole story. "They conveniently left out the names they called me." In a statement the league said the suspension was because Howard returned to the field after the first argument had subsided. |
