Nelson Batters Villa Park High School for 5 Hits Monday, March 27th , 2023 The JSerra Catholic High School Lions swept past the Villa Park High School Spartans, 11-10, at JSerra High School Stadium, paced by third baseman Troy Nelson. The 16-year-old Nelson got 5 hits in 5 at-bats, helping to down the Spartans. Troy Nelson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Robby Rush in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. Currently Nelson is batting .613 with 19 hits and 3 home runs. He has knocked in 6 runs and scored 8 times. |
