Ricardo Ospina Hurt, Out for Year Sunday, March 26th , 2023 The doctors have spoken and Ricardo Ospina of the Huntington Beach High School Oilers didn't like what he heard. The 14-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Ospina sustained his season-ending injury during the Taravella High School Trojans game yesterday at Dreamfield. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Huntington Beach High School medical staff reported Ospina had bone chips in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. |
