Gallardo Raps Southlake Carroll High School for 7 Hits Friday, March 24th , 2023 Clayton Valley Charter High School second baseman Jose Gallardo had a big day at Southlake Carroll High School Stadium against the Southlake Carroll High School Dragons. The 15-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 7-for-7 and led to the 19-3 Eagles triumph over Southlake Carroll High School. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Gallardo said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Jose Gallardo singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jerrod Garton in the 6th and singled in the 9th. |
