Cole Belts 5 Hits Monday, April 15th , 2019 All game long, Lowndes High School's Justin Cole was rattling the walls at Chiles High School Baseball Field and banging out base hits against the Chiles High School Timberwolves. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Vikings had a 14-3 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 18-year-old catcher said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Justin Cole singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th. Cole is hitting .486 this year with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .561, 6 walks and scored 12 times. |
