Greg Kuczma Lost for Season Monday, April 15th , 2019 The doctors have spoken and Greg Kuczma of the De La Salle High School Spartans didn't like what he heard. The 14-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Kuczma sustained his season-ending injury during the Taravella High School Trojans game yesterday at Koch Baseball Diamond. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the De La Salle High School medical staff reported Kuczma had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 12 months. To date this year Kuczma has won 2 and lost 1 with a 8.38 ERA, no saves and 14 strikeouts in 7 relief appearances. |
