Spartans Pedro Tello Down and Out for Year Friday, April 9th , 2021 Pedro Tello of the Spartans just might have to call it quits for the season. The 17-year-old De La Salle High School reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Coppell High School Cowboys recently at Koch Baseball Diamond. Tello suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Spartans medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12 months. Tello has no saves in 7 relief appearances this season with a 0-0 record and 0.00 ERA. |
