5-for-5 Game for Wagner Wednesday, April 15th , 2020 It was a big day for Doug Wagner and he brought the Orange Lutheran High School Lancers along for the ride. Wagner led his club to a 8-1 victory over the Houston County High School Bears today at Houston County High School Stadium, smoking Houston County High School pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 16-year-old second baseman later called the victory "sweet." Doug Wagner singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. In the 2020 season Wagner is hitting .406 with 2 home runs. |
