Nelson Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Tuesday, April 12th , 2022 Troy Nelson of the JSerra Catholic High School Lions has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 1 hit in today's 5-3 triumph over Orange Lutheran High School at JSerra High School Stadium. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Nelson said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Troy Nelson grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Dan Tettemer in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. This season, Nelson is batting .394 with 39 hits, 10 home runs, 26 RBIs, .430 OBP and has scored 29 runs. |
