Marc Alexander Wallops 3 Homers for Eagles Sunday, April 10th , 2022 Marc Alexander showed off his power as he launched three balls into the seats against the Huntington Beach High School Oilers and sparked the Eagles to a win, 8-3. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Anthony Rizzo Field." For the day, Alexander collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Stoneman Douglas High School skipper Allen Barr said. "Marc really put on a show." Marc Alexander hit a solo-shot off Jeremy Stewart in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Justin Hopkins in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Matt Mays in the 8th. To date Alexander has chalked up a .333 average with 11 home runs, driven in 16 runs and scored 16 times. |
