North Oconee High School shortstop Byron Spencer led the Titans to a 9-6 triumph over the Lake Travis High School Cavaliers, crushing three home runs.

"He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said North Oconee High School skipper Ben McGuire.

Indeed, Spencer put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 3 runs and 7 RBIs.

"I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Spencer said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em."

Byron Spencer struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Josh Poehlein in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Evan Dodge in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Victor Sandoval in the 7th.

So far this season Spencer is batting .181 with 8 home runs, 17 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 13 hits in 72 at-bats, 5 walks and a .253 OBP. Spencer has played in 20 games.
