Van Dalen Gone for Season in Loganville High School Friday, April 8th , 2022 Jake Van Dalen of the Red Devils just might have to call it quits for the season. The 17-year-old Loganville High School reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Huntington Beach High School Oilers recently at Dreamfield. Van Dalen suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Red Devils medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 10 months. During this season, Van Dalen has delivered 1 saves. In 5 relief appearances, he has 9 strikeouts in 9.2 innings with a 8.38 ERA and no wins and 1 loss. |
