Lake Travis High School Loses Kent Johnston, Will Miss Season Friday, April 8th , 2022 The season is apparently over for Kent Johnston. The Lake Travis High School Cavaliers medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 8-9 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Johnston was hurt in the game against Lubbock Cooper High School while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year, Kent Johnston has made 5 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark and a 14.21 ERA. In pitching 6.1 innings, he has totaled 2 strikeouts and 5 walks. |
