3-HR Game for Lewis Tuesday, April 5th , 2022 Whatever Gabe Lewis ate for breakfast before his game against the Sinton High School Pirates, it gave him some impressive power. The Spring Hill High School first baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Sinton Pirates Baseball Stadium. His home run barrage helped the Panthers defeat the Pirates, 7-4. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-4, scored 3 times, drove in 4 and put on a display that history will remember. Gabe Lewis hit a two-run home run off Steve Dunn in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Justin Mason in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Ryan Kaye in the 9th. This year, Lewis is batting .353 with 6 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 5 times and has batted in 5 runs. |
