Hall Goes Long 3 Times Saturday, April 2nd , 2022 Grapevine High School third baseman Jay Hall blasted three homers at Stockdale High School Baseball Field in the 15-6 Mustangs victory over the Stockdale High School Mustangs. For the game, Jay Hall scored 3 times and knocked in 6 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Hall when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Hall told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Jay Hall struck out in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Brett Wisdom in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Randy Schenk in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Greg Gustafson in the 9th. For the year, Hall has hit at a .347 clip with 15 RBIs, 8 home runs and 10 runs scored. |
