Chaney Raps 3 HR Against Cowboys Saturday, March 28th , 2020 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Trojans-Cowboys game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Taravella High School first baseman Bobby Chaney thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Taravella High School to a 6-3 win over Coppell High School. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Chaney said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Chaney was 3-for-5 on the day with 4 RBI. Bobby Chaney hit a solo-shot off Jake Bartosch in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jeff Randell in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Joe Roper in the 9th. Chaney is currently batting .294 with 5 home runs and 9 RBIs. |
