Cantu Sizzles -- Smokes Eagles for 5 Hits Friday, April 2nd , 2021 Thanks to Chris Cantu and his big bat, the Eagles derailed the Stoneman Douglas High School Eagles, 12-1, at North Cobb Christian Schools Baseball Complex. The North Cobb Christian High School shortstop had a standout game with 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Chris Cantu singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Carson Rigney in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. For the year, Cantu has hit .400 with 5 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 13 runs. |
