Gratta Batters Buford High School Big Time Monday, March 29th , 2021 Nick Gratta was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 9-8, over the Wolves. The Grenada High School third baseman was a tough out and went 5-for-5 against Buford High School in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Nick Gratta hit a three-run home run off Dennis Black in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Malcolm Robinson in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Ben Abbate in the 8th. Gratta currently has a .429 batting average with 15 hits, 4 homers, 12 RBIs, 9 runs scored and a .512 OBP. |
