MacKoul Cracks 3 HRs for Harlem High School

Justin MacKoul was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 10-1 Harlem High School Bulldogs triumph at North Cobb Christian Schools Baseball Complex.

The 14-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Bulldogs past the North Cobb Christian High School Eagles.

"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," MacKoul told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."

The first baseman went 3-for-4, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day.

Justin MacKoul grounded out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Carlos Orosco in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off J.D. Benjamin in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off J.D. Benjamin in the 7th and walked in the 9th.

This season, MacKoul has hit at a .304 clip with 6 RBIs, 3 home runs and 7 runs scored.
