Bolden Bangs 3 HR Against North Cobb Christian High School Wednesday, March 27th , 2019 Fans are still buzzing after Stoneman Douglas High School whipped the North Cobb Christian High School Eagles by the score of 7-3 today at Anthony Rizzo Field. Mike Bolden smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the center fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Bolden said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Bolden said. "Three is just... wow." Mike Bolden hit a solo-shot off John Sherline in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off John Sherline in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off John MacKenzie in the 8th. So far this season Bolden is hitting .360 with 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has 9 hits in 25 at-bats and a .484 OBP. |
