Kaatz Belts 5 Hits Thursday, March 26th , 2020 Ben Kaatz was the King of Swing today at Lubbock Cooper High School Stadium today in the 12-2 Pope High School Greyhounds win over the Lubbock Cooper High School Pirates. The Pope High School third baseman stepped into the batter's box 6 times against Lubbock Cooper High School and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-6 isn't bad for your batting average either." Ben Kaatz grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this season Kaatz has hit .444 with no home runs, 2 RBIs and scored 4 times. |
