Torrey 5-for-5 Against Marcus High School Thursday, March 26th , 2020 Sean Torrey exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Koch Baseball Diamond. The De La Salle High School third baseman had a field day in the 6-1 triumph over the Marcus High School Marauders, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Torrey must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Sean Torrey singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. In his season totals, Torrey has no home runs, .545 BA, .542 OBP, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. He has played in 6 games. |
