Clayton Valley Charter High School Loses Gilberto Hernandez, Will Miss Season Sunday, March 27th , 2022
The doctors have spoken and Gilberto Hernandez of the Clayton Valley Charter High School Eagles didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Hernandez sustained his season-ending injury during the Stoneman Douglas High School Eagles game yesterday at Clayton Valley High School Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Clayton Valley Charter High School medical staff reported Hernandez had a damaged elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 14 months.
