Schulz Raps 3 HR Against Spartans Sunday, March 27th , 2022 De La Salle High School Spartans right fielder Nick Schulz left the St. Johns Country Day High School pitching staff in ruins at St. Johns Country Day High School Stadium, beating the Spartans, 12-0, with a prodigious three-home run performance. "The last one was totally unexpected," Schulz told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three." For the game, the De La Salle High School right fielder had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 6 and scored 3 runs. Nick Schulz hit a two-run home run off Matt Bradford in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Mike Ackerman in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Bryan Bica in the 8th. Looking at his season stats, Schulz has compiled a .375 batting average and a .500 on-base percentage, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 8 runs. |
