Leo Mendez Rockets 3 Home Runs Monday, March 21st , 2022 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Leo Mendez discovered that today at Spring Hill High School Baseball Complex, as he smashed three home runs during the 9-7 Spring Hill High School Panthers win over the Loganville High School Red Devils. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Spring Hill High School first baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Mendez finished the day with 6 hits in 6 at-bats and 5 RBIs. Leo Mendez walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Al Milligan in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Chad Asbury in the 9th, singled in the 11th and hit a three-run home run off Tommy Kegley in the 13th. |
